Official Nintendo Magazine might have gotten the first look at Sonic Unleashed, but Play Magazine is bringing us never before seen visual elements (Check out Play Online’s Sonic Unleashed Screenshots).
And man, do they look good or what?
I absolutely loved the original look of Sonic back in the early days, but this new stylistic approach is really starting to impress me. Just check out the details in the models and textures. Sure, it’s not at the same level at Gears of War 2 or something, but it sure does look pretty for a Sonic title.
Kudos SEGA… Kudos to you.
i like this, but that remember me the 06′ sonic style stages…
i preffer the classic “colorfull cubistic” worlds….
anyway, this luck much better.
is only my opinion.
I think that SEGA is doing a good job developing a game for “next generation” consoles while still holding true to some of the things that make Sonic games… well, Sonic games. While things do seem a bit more real world than the classical games, there is still a touch of style that is really growing on me here.
We’ll have to wait and see where they go with this!
