Who shouldn’t be in Sonic Unleashed?
So far, we know that besides Sonic (and his various forms), we’ll be seeing Tails, Knuckles, and Amy in Sonic Unleashed. Putting that to the side for a moment, what would be your perfect lineup for the next Sonic game?

blaze did not die in sonic the hedgehog the next gen. at the end none of it happened because elise blew the flame away.
i want sonic,shadow,silver,knux,and tails in the game but only sonic tails and knux. in the story the rest can be multiplayer. no amy because she is so annoying and all she is good for is getting kidnapped. if you want a girl make one or have blaze but not rough or cream or amy.ta least blaze can acully do someting. and omega whats the diff. betwwen him and the guns in shadow the hedgehog? Sadly it’s conffirmed amy sonic tail’s knuckles and maybe shadow will be playable charecters in the story also there is gonna be other charecters
Since Elise blew out the eternal flame the world doesn’t get destroyed. Which means Silver and Blaze are not coming back to try and prevent a terrible disaster.
Mephiles can’t bring them back because he doesn’t exist (which means Silver won’t know who Sonic is) and I don’t think they’d use the chaos emeralds either, because how would they know they can be used for time travel? Nobody knew.
and yes, the world is destroyed in this game, but in the end I assume Sonic will put things right. Which means yet again Silver and Blaze have no reason to return.
Sega said they’re introducing a new character. (big surprise) How come we’re not talking about that?
Okay then. But isn’t it possible that this new character is Werehog Sonic.

They already said that she (Amy) is going to be in the game whether you like her or not. Jeeze, don’t you people pay attention to anything?

Well looking on Wikipedia I came across a reference to a new character in Sonic Unleashed called Immarius and after putting his name into Google Images I have determined that Immarius is not only the big weird purple looking thing in some screenshots but is also the ‘Dragon’ at the Centre of Sonic’s World.
@Blake: Yes, Blake is right there is a new charecter, and yes silver and blaze might not be in the game but weresonic is going to be fused by the chaos emeralds by eggman when sonic was super sonic and in the game at night he turn’s into weresonic so all 8 chaos emeralds will not be in the game maybe but the 7 will the extra the 8th one is the master emerald will may or may not be in sonic unleashd so maybe knux will help eggman power the master emerald by eggman tricking him like in sonic x so maybe shadow will be in the game because now he has a reason but im gonna let you find that reason out by yourself’s…well never mind ill just tell you sonic probley will need to retreive all the 7 chaos emeralds and need help so if he can do it himself what’s the point of tail’s amy or knux to be in the game? so of course shadow might be in the game

We think that the “new” character may just be Weresonic. Probably should wait and see before we start jumping to conclusions about these sorts of things.

Hi all, thought I’d drop in my two (euro)cents.
I picked Cream and Amy not to be in, at least not playable. Having them involved in the movies between stages (CGI) is okay with me, but Amy’s just lousy to control in Sonic Advance 1.
Cream doesn’t need to be in, since it’s too serious for a warm-hearted, little girl like herself to be involved.
Characters I do like to see in are Shadow and Silver, because Shadow is my favourite in SA2B (though they completely screwed up everyone’s voices in Sega Superstars Tennis). Silver is an interesting character, and I’d love to learn more about him. Also Shadow should be on Sonic’s side for a change and loosen up a bit, like displaying a more friendly attitude. Maybe Eggman can trick Silver into helping him, like he did with Knuckles in the earlier games (up until Sonic Adventure 1 I believe).
Anyway, that’s my opinion. ;)

1: How do you contact the guys who are running the website?
2: The thing I wanna tell them we’ve only herd 7 chaos emeralds will be in the game what about the 8th? the 8th is Knuckle’s master emerald so is it going to be in the game or not? Maybe Knuckles was doing activating it when eggman was to sonic to a werehog so maybe some part was knuckles or he got tricked….

I hate sonic charecters that are new and they put them in the game i thought iblis was the last pienus to go into sonic but NOOOO!! Not really so sega has to stop making fan charecters

@ jorenmartijin: I have to agree with you mostly Silver would be a superb character to have in the game but I must also agree with sonicboy2. Sonic 06 wasn’t garbarge, I haven’t played the game but I have watched cutscenes on the internet, and the storyline seemed okay to me though not exactly straightforward.
I think that amy should be playable in adventure mode (the real game) because there’s been alot of game’s that she hasn’t been in only for CGI though so for example Amy is only playable in 2P mode in SA2B they should of put her in adventure because she didn’t do anything and why did they put metal sonic in 2P he wasn’t even in the game so Amy should be a playable person also stop getting mad because Amy Tail’s Knuckle’s and Eggman will be in the game with sonic(were) so I rest my case

Well, that sucks for you. Who cares if you won’t buy the game cause of one character you don’t like appears in the story. That’s a pretty dumb reason to not buy the game.

I think she should get kiddnaped but this time you play her so she can brake out of eggman’s base. I think that only Sonic and his various forms, along with Dr. Ivo Robonik, should be be in Sonic Unleashed. The Sonic Team must completely get rid of all the add-on sidekicks and villans other than Eggman. Then they can start over and create a new set of characters that everyon will like.
I think that it should just be Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and maybe Amy or Blaze who are playable. Then I think Metal Sonic should be in the story as Eggman’s minion who races and fights Sonic sometimes. And Shadow could also be an opponent rival character similar to Metal Sonic working for Eggman for an unknown reason.
I don’t like that they keep changing the origin of blaze and eggman nega. they’re from another dimension in sonic rush games, but everywhere else, they’re from the future! they need to clear that up soon.

everyone keeps suggesting they get rid of everyone and start over. That’s a bad idea! Spyro the dragon did that, and now it seems to have lost the charm of the old games. Sonic’s cast of characters is brilliant. They shouldn’t completely eliminate ANYONE, just not include them if they’re not wanted.
well im gonna post now, if only sonic(were) and eggman were playable in the game that would be horrible i wouldn’t even get the game, they shouldn’t make a new set of people because what’s wrong with them now? if you like silver you like him if you like sonic you like him if you like amy you like her if you like anyone else you like that other person, also the ” new guy” in the game might look kinda like you seen them before if you played sonic adventure 2:battle and if you played sonic next Gen., also 1 more thing there will be chaos and maybe a chaos garden like in sonic adventure 2:battle ya this was a long post but i wanted you too read it all, oh and when i said “new guy” i havn’t seen a good picture but he might be like iblis or biolizard
As commented before, Blaze is from another dimension (in the same time-space place) in Sonic Rush (Adventure), but in others she’s from the future.
If they build the Wii version based on Rush-mechanics, there could be a chance that she’ll make an appearance. (I love DIMPS for that :D)
