Maybe you saw that while thankful, we weren’t thrilled about Sega’s Sonic Unleashed Fact Sheet they made available after their Gamer’s Day Event. It was less of a fact sheet, and more of a promotional buzz word bombardment.
In any case, we’ve decided to take it upon ourselves to deliver a REAL fact sheet to the masses. We happily present you today with Sonic Unleashed – The Facts Unleashed.
One of the things we’ve taken pride in here at Camp Sonic, is our community’s ability to actively engage themselves in finding the most up to date, accurate information out there on Sonic Unleashed. Around the entire Sonic Community, we’ve recently seen speculation sky rocket as rumors ignite, and false information spreads like wildfire.
It is for this reason that Camp Sonic is launching The Facts Unleashed, Everything You Should Know About Sonic Unleashed. Think of it as an encyclopedia of sorts, complete with verifiable sources so you can rest easy knowing you have the most accurate, up to date information on Sonic Unleashed.
Now you have a central source for verifying your facts. Whether you mean to correct someone spreading false rumors in the community, direct fans to the right sources, or simply obsess over all the facts yourself, this is the only page you’ll need to consult.

Dragonite is very entertaining. Don’t forget! Sonic moves or boosts at 300 Miles per Hour in this game! In 2d, 300 Miles per Hour is very fast. I will boost through the entire level and try to hurt people’s eyes.
I noticed that clutter effect to,but it can’t be helped much at this stage.
You might put the links under a fact to make it less linky.(You know what I mean.)

I think the control scheme is going to change quite a bit from console to console, and we haven’t heard of any final remarks from Sega on controls, so I may hold off on that one for a little while.
@ Ssonic22 – E3 is July 15th-17th. Sega has not revealed if they will announce anything or not related to Sonic Unleashed, but it’s widely speculated that they will based off of recent comments they’ve made, and lack of information from other sources.
how will be the boss battles?
unknown as of now.
Not to be rude,as I would most likely would make such a mistake myself to at times,but the factlist has a reason to be there.
I think some boss fights will also have constant running,but without any information about the regular bosses,we have no real clue.
The bosses we know of is that large dragon thing,and only of the early screens also featured eggman in a rather large but plain mecha,which possible could be a boss.
Since it mosty looks like a large regular robot with a glass dome,I think not.
It could also be that you actually START the game as super sonic,and you atack eggmans base,actually.
But I think it will be restricted to a rather awesome opening scene.
But again… All speculation at this point.

My usual penalty for imitation is a permanent ban, which is fine for me. Haven’t had trouble anywhere with that problem yet.

Dragonite. You are correct about the “delay” part. But this also means we get a new Sonic game like every year. If Sonic Unleashed isn’t that good… you can look forward to Sonic Unleashed 2 in 2009.

That would mean we get a generic sequel that has barely gotten a year of delevopment.
I know the engine will be re-used,but one of sonic’s problems is that the main titles don’t get the attention they deserve.

No, but really it’s a pretty standard icon Wordpress has basically made famous (it’s what they use to track stats). To give you an idea, the other day it counted 3,302 views, figured out that our top viewed page was “The Facts Unleashed”, and decided that our top referrer (a site that sends people here via links) was the SEGA board.
But no, it’s not really significant or anything
I very much doubt a sequel within a years time considering how SEGA has said that they’re still working so hard on this installment.

Also, something to point out, on page 17 of PLAY Magazine, or at the very least page 7 of their Unleashed coverage, there is a concept art picture of a distinctly Asian village, which seems to indicate an Asia level? (no, duh?) Maybe it’s worth waiting for more information about the level, like screenshots, to come out before it’s added to the sheet?
@iNAUDiBLE: Yeah, looks like it could be from Asia (China/Japan?). It’s concept art though, so definitely better to wait it out.
