It figures that the same day I make a case of there being no new Sonic Unleashed content, a brand new Sonic Unleashed Trailer is posted. I actually am not even around a computer at this point, so I’ll leave it up to you folks to talk about the video I’m posting, and join in when I am able to watch it myself. Update Below!

Found a working connection so that I could make a real update (and watch the video myself)! This new Sonic Unleashed video from the Xbox 360 features 2 full minutes of beautiful gameplay, chuck full of new gameplay elements, and incredible visuals of the Europe stage (which we pointed out was the 4th stage of Sonic Unleashed).
IGN’s posted both a low and high resolution version of the video, which you can grab here.
I noticed a few things I haven’t seen before during my first watch, such as Skydiving through tunnels with spikes floating around, and popups for when to press buttons to avoid danger. I’ll be updating our Facts Unleashed page soon, so if you notice anything new, be sure to share in the comments!
I thought I was excited when I saw the first trailer for this game… but now Sega’s raised my expectations to a whole new level.

If I ever said anything bad about this game. Then I take it all back right now! This is too awesome for words! Out of all the grey and brown sewage looking first person shooters in this gen a glistening diamond full of vibrant environemts and original enemies has arisen to blow the competition out of the water!
I now could care less about the werewolf sections. They don’t scare me anymore. They’re bound to be just as good as what we see here. Bring on the furry!
The music is great. It’s very….oh, what’s the word?….Fun and upbeat! As much as I loved His World. This stuff is way better. My Opinion, I know.
Look out UR MR ***. The blue blur is back! 08 is Sonic’s year.

I like those button popups. Now you actually get to do something when running at high speed. And drifting through turns looks awesome!
Camera seems to work better than before.
Wow just wow, they finally making a true sonic game. How a sonic game should of been after sonic adventure 2. Ever since i was a child i adore sonic. i had every game they made and they finally making a sonic game for us fan on who still believed in sonic team. Now that we seen the game play for regular sonic how about the game play of ware-sonic.
That video gave me incredible hopes for this game now. It could be the best sonic game ever created…
Had a look at the new screenshots and they are absolutely amazing. I’m really regretting only have a PS2.
Wow I was surpise by the graphics but seeing the gameplay just fits the Sonic title. The only thing needed to really put this game in a good section is the story.
This WILL BE THE BEST SONIC GAME EVER!
I think my jaw is locked in an open postition! That was amazing! And now I want the game more then ever and we still have about half year till it’s unleashed…I mean out in stores. Plus I don’t think I’ve ever seen Sonic move that fast before! Not even in Light Dashes.
The only thing I hope for is not too crazy on how fast it is. Other than that, damn, this like Sonic Rush with a few new tricks and amazing visuals. Now all we need now either a cutscene or maybe I don’t know… Sonic the Werehog gameplay, maybe?
E3 is about a month away…
i think the night element will introduce a more platforming gameplay whereas the normal SONIC will be more action-arcade-esque type gameplay.. its looking amazing.. this will be the best SEGA year in year if only now SHENMUE 3 was confirmed at E3.

Finally got to watch it. Wow! That was incredible… I’m at a working connection, but still a bit limited on my time, so I won’t be making any updates to the Facts Unleashed page until later on.
Did any of you notice anything new in the trailer?
Oh… and I spy, with my little eye… a possible Sonic Unleashed logo.
Yeah, it’s incredibly fast… I saw loads of alternate routes and shortcuts, and some platforming as well. At one point, Sonic crashed through a rooftop and plummeted through the corridor, collecting rings and dodging objects. Very stylish. And grinding was FAST and very cool-looking. Sonic also bashed some enemies with his homing attack, and the lock-on cursor from Secret Rings is here, that’s good.
And that’s only the tip of the iceburg. You’d have to see it for yourself, but I think you’ll be impressed.
Alright, I’ll fix the credit when I get back to my office. Like I said, kind of restricted in my posting abilities right now, heh. Glad to hear it looks good!

And yes, that’s some amazing gameplay. The graphics are incredible, and that tune is already stuck in my head… and it just looks fun! So far, so good… keep going, Sonic Team!
Wow. Thats all I can say…
It looks like they finally got 2D Sonic to work in 3D. Those quick time commands were awesome, the wall jumps and slides were nicely done, and it all just seemed to flow! There were no excessive breaks like in S&TSR.
I now have high hopes for this game. Lets hope E3 confirms it.
