New Sonic Unleashed Europe Gameplay Footage
It figures that the same day I make a case of there being no new Sonic Unleashed content, a brand new Sonic Unleashed Trailer is posted. I actually am not even around a computer at this point, so I’ll leave it up to you folks to talk about the video I’m posting, and join in when I am able to watch it myself. Update Below!

Found a working connection so that I could make a real update (and watch the video myself)! This new Sonic Unleashed video from the Xbox 360 features 2 full minutes of beautiful gameplay, chuck full of new gameplay elements, and incredible visuals of the Europe stage (which we pointed out was the 4th stage of Sonic Unleashed).
IGN’s posted both a low and high resolution version of the video, which you can grab here.
I noticed a few things I haven’t seen before during my first watch, such as Skydiving through tunnels with spikes floating around, and popups for when to press buttons to avoid danger. I’ll be updating our Facts Unleashed page soon, so if you notice anything new, be sure to share in the comments!
I thought I was excited when I saw the first trailer for this game… but now Sega’s raised my expectations to a whole new level.

yeah but since their trying to make this game realistic i understand why they put humans that and they’re a lot easier to use since these places actually exist in the world but
And loading times will be less frequent in fact once u start a level or watch a cutscene the thing that follows after it is already loading so its a win win
I wonder if the cutscenes will be in realtime…

Secret rings was kind of and exection,and even that game had real-time at the end.
When I first heard about Sonic Unleashed, I couldn’t believe my eyes, Before Sonic Unleashed had even been announced, I had thought about ideas to put in my fangame, “Sonic – Runes of Speed” which was is going to be in 2D, SEGA actually does it for me. Besides the werewolf part though.

I hope the music they use will be classic Sonic songs remixed like they did with Angel Island song from Sonic 3, and used it in Smash Bros Brawl. If they will use popular songs from the classic games, then the game will really be something.
Im not sure its a good idea, i would like to suggest a poll of classic Sonic songs that everyone would like to be used in Unleashed. If its a good idea to keep the discussion going please let me know.

i dont know, maybe it was. i was just thinking since SEGA brought back 2D in a way, they should bring back more classic Sonic elements, and always the music made the game really good.
This game is going to revolutionize everything Sonic related. They surpassed Sonic The Hedgehog for the 360 / PS3. By far. It is much more fast paced and amazingly compliments Sonic’s speed. They certainly regulated it. Although . . . i am still looking foward to seeing how they are going to counterbalance Sonics speed and power in the Werehog form. Anyone else . . . ?
P.S. I am looking into this Contest currently being held.
Not only that, but how you use the environment is also part of the Werehog form that we still don’t even know about.

Is separate characters like tails and knuckles and Amy going to have seperate levels 2 sonic are are the levels gonna intertwine like Sonic needs help and Knuckles suddenly helps out or something?
I presume that Tails, Knuckles and Amy all have rolls, but not to be played all the time. So I think, Yes, there may be seperate levels for them.

In Technicalities, nope.
The company system works on a strict patent system.
So if he does not represent the company in any way, he has no rights to legally produce anything “Sonic” that is official.
Though that may be, Naka still has the right to be called the creator.
And if he “is” the one who put the patent on Sonic himself, then yes he he can produce official sonic products.
yeah but he made it Team sonics responsibility now he’s working on a new ds game but he does have the rights and owns Sonic the Hedgehog character but he didnt create Eggman someone else who submitted him for Sega’s new mascot lost 2 sonic then they made Him into Eggman his sonics Archrival
Do u think that Chao world will be better than Sa2 i think the chaos will look like the ones in Sega superstar tennis the graphic and shine they have on them is kinda cool
@Setembro: Hey, wanted to let you know, and anyone else interested in an HD version, that AAUK got back to my question about a hi-res version, and basically said he’s not sure at this point. He’s gonna see if it’s possible it sounds like, so that could be good news (or bad if he’s not able to share it :P )
Amazing! I hope the Wii version isn’t too toned down…
I expect the most tampering they will do outside of toned down graphics, is changing those quick time commands from using buttons to using Wii-mote motions.
Of course this could just be wishful thinking, I hope they don’t change the Wii version too much. ):

They’ve done it! They’ve finally done it! Irony, Mario gets even more popular with Super Mario Galaxy, and then Sonic comes out with this! Im buying this as SOON as it comes out!

@admin: Well the game should be featured. The progress is incredible! It’s like Sonic Rush but for Xbox 360 in HD + the frame rate looks great. After watching this trailer I would totally pre-order but it’s way to early for that. Sonic games should always be like this, easy to pick up and play and fun to watch. P.S. Keep that great gameplay coming!

If they want some replay value in the game give the player an option to chose different paths to run on. Sky Rail is a good example from SA2B. + that always gets a better review score.

From the look of it sega is finally getting the blue blur back on track, im not being optimistic on this one, ive been with sonic from 1991 to now, and he’s had his up and downs,(mostly up). Im not saying sonic unleashed will be better than,say,sonic the hedgehog 2,(which most fans agree is the best sonic game ever released). What im saying it will hopefully be the best damn sonic game in years. So right now sonic unleashed is looking like one hell of a game.
Sega already said it will be better than Sonic 2. Infact, they said it’ll be better than Sonic 1, 2, 3, and knuckles combined. Know what that means?
If Sonic 2, and Sonic 3 fused and became Gotenks, Sonic Unleashed would be better than that.

There where,watch the first wall jump part,just before it is another a gap above sonic to also wall jump in,so that is an alternate path.
If the game is anywhere close to Sonic 2 and Sonic Adventure combined, the critics will have their hands full in finding anythig wrong with the game.
Critics are adept at moaning at things.

I think it goes faster when you play as super sonic.
But the speed record now lies by the series current black sheep sonic06 with the mach speed zones.

it just was dumb to lose all your rings and die while you were still flashing. Sonic should of been able to run on water a Mach Speed. Hell in the movie the Incredibles, the little kid “Dash” ran across water no problem.
How did i not see the balloons but there are mixed paths and having the button action feature will help u control Sonic when he goes Mach speed therefore fixing the speed issue

less talk is better, just use the text box and maybe a few words to show emotion. Skies of Arcadia is a great example and a great game.
