New Sonic Unleashed Pre-E3 Trailer
I’ve seen a ton of you talking about it in the comments, so it’s definitely no secret at this point, but there is a brand new Sonic Unleashed Werehog video available for the public. This video being revealed only days before E3 is certainly reason to believe we might see something very special come SEGA’s private showing.
I’m still on the road at this point, so I’ll leave the speculation up to you for now (just try to keep things clean, flame-free, and for heavens sake let’s work on our grammar folks). The full video can be seen after the jump:

Mostly, my concern is that some people are still speculating whether it’s actually Sonic, or a different character.
It brings a couple theories to mind, like the one I mentioned before where acts are split into day and night.
Another possibility would be choosing whether you go at night or day, which would affect who you played as.
But the main concern is also something that has happened in the archie comics in the past. When Super Sonic and Sonic broke apart, I wonder if the same possibility could be happening here. If Were-Sonic and Sonic are co-existing at the same time.
That could definitely lead to a deep and crazy storyline, not that I doubt this game’s plot isn’t already crazy xD
what day will sonic unleashed be discussed in E3. I’ve probably missed something but I just went on their calendar and couldnt find it. Obviously its there but could someone tell me when?

i love the trailer. i think it’s a bit funny too. but they said he was just turning into the werehog in the night hours so which is it? full moon or night hours? i’m hoping it’s night hours because if it was just full moon then we wouldn’t play as the were-hog much during the game.
@Lyon the Groundhog: First off, official SEGA calls Sonic a Were-hog, since they were the ones who named the first teaser “Were-hog teaser trailer”. Second, I believe you mean the UK Sonic the Comic when you talk about Super Sonic bneing separate from Sonic. Lastly, the game’s official catsh phrase is: “When the sun goes down, a new adventure begins.” This and the above mentioned teaser name AND Official Nintendo Magazine specifically calling him a werewolf give me more than enough reason to believe that Sonic and his beastly alter-ego are one and the same.
I’mm unsure where I read it from but they said Wolf Sonic will play alot like Donkey Kong he uses his large arms to swing from place to place but his legs are very short so he can’t run that fast but he has really quick reflexes
I imagine him as a beast that moves quickly kinda rapid like a and very scary at night i would think that Weresonic is really fierce i mean look at those fangs he looks like he’s ready to kill something for food (in a good way not negatively) man i cant wait!!!

You’re probably right. I just don’t really ever believe things until they come out, that way I can look at the possibility of many views.
I mean, maybe SEGA wants us to think that they’re both the same character, so they can keep the secret well hidden.
But I also tend to think WAY too much on the subject, and the fact that it probably IS sonic is almost 100% assured.
And yes I was referring when, I think it was like bad emeralds or misuse of the emeralds that lead to the two being split apart. It was also one heck of a battle xD

…and I’m a big fan of the comic series. I believe Sonic was overexposed to the emeralds or something. ^_^
i havn’t posted for awhile but that was the coolest sonic commercial i have seen in the history of history and also it kinda looked like mephiles at some points it was strange
Lol, SEGA, not CRUEL? obviously, we’ve over-looked the past 3-4 games they’ve pumped out for the home consoles to make such a statement xDD
I joke, I actually enjoyed most of the games pumped out, even though their faults have been there. But, I wouldn’t put it past them, I mean, it’s a huge part of the game itself, it’s not a small tid bit like “Silver isn’t in the game” or “Amy Rose is killed by Were-sonic” (HEY, I can dream!)

NOTE: when it shows the footage of the werehog jumping the highway PAUSE right after the first time it shows the footage, and you could see part of his legs!
also the “traces of blue hair” look like a plastic blue string, or a straw,
and lastly, holy sh*t! when i saw the face with the beddy eyes and huge fangs it scared the sh*t out of me. TRY HARD TO PAUSE AT THAT PIC, IT WILL SCARE THE SH*T OUT OF YOU

Wow. Sega must have done research on forensic science, because SEGA has successfully taken “murder mysteries” to the next level. It’s like “Sonic the Hedgehog Meets Resident Evil!” Only without zombies! You know, there should be another motto: “Super Sonic is gone on holiday…and Were-Sonic is here to stay…” It would be kick-ass if Were-Sonic said that line himself.

@Dart: Ha ha, that’s actually a good idea. Agent Mulder tracking down Werehog Sonic. XD. I can’t wait to see what Agent Scully will say about this. She always tries to rationalise cases like this. Or maybe Sega can put Werehog Sonic and a semi-final boss in another “The House of the Dead?”
