Just a reminder from your friendly neighborhood Camp… Sonic… no, that doesn’t work… *ahem*
We are on top alert right now, as E3 will be starting tomorrow July 14th, and there has been confirmation that SEGA will make some important announcements in regards to Sonic Unleashed (*cough* Weresonic *cough*). We suggest you stay on alert yourself, and be sure to report anything you find directly to us (via comments or our contact form)!
We’ll be with SEGA ourselves come Thursday the 17th, and will have an exclusive write-up shortly following. Update: Our Writeup is Live! We’re also working closely with others to bring the ultimate Unleashed experience during E3 2008, so stick around. It’s up to all of us to bring new pieces of information to the forefront of the Sonic Community! Keep your eyes peeled!

At last E3 will began
possivelmente eles poderao explicar essa história do lobouriço porque eu estou tao confuso.
(em ingles):
possibly they could explain that old thing of werewolf because i am really confused.
(in english)
I think the levels are 9-12 minutes on the screenshots because they didn’t “hurry” through a stage.. I mean after all they have to check for
bugs, glitches.. you know. Even the developer has to /play/ the game
they develop in case some glitches/bugs stay in if everything works and looks fine.. and so on.
I’m having a good feeling about this. -ish excited for E3- I can’t imagine how people could wait till november(the release) being even excited for more information xD
I hope I’m not confusing xD
-Okay. I just don’t want the game to be hold right to win, like some of the Gaming websites who went to Sega’s Gamer Day said it seemed a little like from what they saw.
-You remember how Sonic Rush/Rush Adventure involved doing tricks in the air to fill up your boost gauge? It was mentioned in a Nintendo Power article (http://www.campsonic.com/2008/07/03/sonic-unleashed-in-nintendo-power-transcript) that you’ll be using an “action-chaining” system in Unleashed, involving doing various actions in a row to increase your boost gauge. I’m wondering if that means the trick system like in Rush/Rush Adventure, or just like defeating multiple enemies in a row.
-Alright
-Then how would you explain this (on http://www.campsonic.com/2008/07/03/sonic-unleashed-in-nintendo-power-transcript):
“Each area has cities and villages where the player collects information to unlock new stages.”
-Really? All I remember hearing on him was that he’s slower than regular Sonic and can throw obstacles.
-Okay.
-Alright, if you say so, although I still don’t remember where it said that.
Thanks for replying, though!
Yay! E3 is today! *frolics*
Thursday?? Noooo! D:
I can’t wait that long! XD
can you ask this too?
- it was mentioned in the magazine scan that levels are just 5 mins short. if there were 9 locations and lets say there are 3 zones in each location so there’s like 15 mins in each location. i wanna ask if what is the average time that this game last
@Link451: I could probably answer some of these for ya:
- Looks like a combo of both so far. Probably something you’ll need to decide yourself.
- Sort of confused. Did you ask the same thing 3 times? Sorry it’s 1AM, heh.
- Good question.
- No. At least from what Hashimoto has said so far, it can be as fast or slow as you want it to be in terms of side quests/hubs/etc.
- He’ll be fast from what we learned a while back. Fast, and agile… and strong.
- Good question.
- No. It’s been confirmed that day and night will not alternate freely, but only at set points, or in between stages, or something of that manner.
David Leggett, I would like to request a few things you ask in the interview, if they’re not already answered at E3.
-If the game will be mainly speed on a linear path and barely any platforming, and if it is platforming, why it looks like it’s a lot of mainly just speed
-If the action-chain system works in the same way as Rush/Rush Adventure (doing tricks in the air), or like stringing together homing attacks, or defeating multiple enemies in the air.
-If you’ll still start out being fast and somewhat strong despite having to level up
-If you are required to complete stuff to get to the next action stage, like missions from the citizens and talking to a lot of citizens (similar to SNG), or if accessing the next stage will be more similar to Adventure, involving just simply hitting a switch, inserting a stone, etc.
-If the Werehog will at least move somewhat fast, or if he’ll just be plain slow
-How the bosses show up. (Ie, will they show up just randomly after certain levels like in SA2?)
-If the day and night system will be automatic where it just changes to a certain time of the day depending on where you are in the game, or if it will move from day and night based on an in-game timer (like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time).
Thanks a lot if you could ask these!
