It’s been a busy day for Sonic, with all this new Sonic Unleashed information being thrown at us all at once from E3. In case you missed something, here’s a quick roundup of what went down today out in California.
- New Sonic Unleashed Trailer at E3 - Not any ordinary trailer either. We’re talking about nearly two and a half minutes of Sonic Unleashed bliss, featuring the first ever footage of Weresonic in gameplay.
- New Sonic Unleashed Screenshots from E3 - To compliment the new video, SEGA has released 25 new Sonic Unleashed screenshots (5 of them featuring Weresonic). There are 3 sets, including Africa in the Day, China in the Day, and Mykonos at Night.
- Interview with SoA Producer, Patrick Riley - We’ve heard him before, but this time, Patrick was a lot more willing to share information about Unleashed with us. Check out our impressions, then go see the whole thing over at Joystiq.
- Sonic & Weresonic Comparison - SEGA has added some artwork showing the differences between Weresonic and Sonic in Sonic Unleashed.

A mind blowing day having to take in all that imformation about sonic from the interview info, the ausome e3 trailer showing new stages bosses and footage of weresonic. WOW what a big day i cant wait to see what else sega will reveil about this cool sonic game.

So many updates. So little time. @ThethingIsbored: I actulally saw a commercial, and it said “all new demos, and reviews tomorrow”, and it showed Sonic Unleashed. I don’t know what this means, but. It’’s there. And there to stay.

This may very well be a 3D Sonic game within the past 5 years that I’m not embarrased to play around other people. Looking foward to hearing more info.
We still havn’t heard Jason Griffiths voice acting for Sonic yet. Sorry to bring it up. I know it’s a depressing topic.

Nothing mind-blowing but I noticed couple of things I didn’t know before.
When running with Sonic Boost you can run on water in certain levels.
And WereSonic appears to have around 30 combat moves.
The new trailer is so darn awesome I can’t stop jumping around (so to speak). I knew the opening cutscene would be that cool! I mean, Sonic dodging missiles going towards him and Eggman capturing him with his robot’s hand (2 things that take me back to the DiC cartoons
), Sonic has sparks around him, and one thing we didn’t know is that he transformed himself right there. And seeing Super Sonic smashing the robot’s arm was really something. 
Wow, WereSonic has claw power!
