New Sonic/Weresonic Comparison
With all eyes diverted to coverage of E3, it’s pretty easy to miss the obvious. A quick look at SEGA’s homepage, and you’ll notice quite a few updates, including a comparison of Weresonic and Sonic from Sonic Unleashed.
My, what big teeth you have Weresonic…
They’re obviously prerendered (and possibly just artist renditions), but are cool to see none the less. You might also notice a few other pieces you either haven’t seen before, or havent seen under proper lighting before (such as the first Weresonic render we ever saw).
Some of the shots below really highlight some of the less obvious distinctions between our Classic hero and his new beastly alter-ego. Check out the studs on those boots!

Dude, if you don’t like the direction things are going, you might as well just leave the series.
I’ll admit, things have been rough for Sonic nowadays. But do you really, honestly think Sega/Sonic Team are PURPOSELY trying to ruin the series? Anyone with more sense than that knows that they’re trying to fit Sonic in year 2009 (yes, 2009, NOT 1994), and whether you think it sucks there are folks out their who enjoy it.
Save your breath and trouble and quit complaining about this. It’s been more than a decade, you really think Sega/Sonic Team would’ve listened to much of that by now.
Hey I just wanted to let you know, I actually like the composition on your site. But I am employing Chromium on a machine running version 9.10 of Xubuntu and the UI aren’t quite correct. Not a serious deal, I can still basically read the articles and explore for info, but just wanted to inform you about that. The navigation bar is kind of difficult to use with the config I’m running. Keep up the great work!
