Seems like a good time to gauge our readers on Sonic Unleashed once again, with E3 being behind us, and some Werehog footage being unveiled. Simply tell us if you’re more excited, more worried, or completely apathetic now that we know a bit more about Unleashed. Feel free to explain in the comments below.

Does anybody know when we are going to see more Wii screenshot? Sonic sells better on Nintendo consoles and hard to believe that SEGA isn’t showing that many screenshots.
@Shadow the hedgehog: how would that work ? sonic is after all the only one who is able to have a werehog form, since he’s the only (organic) life form who can harness the power of the chaos emeralds… and more importantly, the only one who got hit with that enormous purple laser of doom
@LightSpeedBlast: Chances are the Spin Dash is just the Crouch and then the Homing Attack button since that is usually the jump button as well. It’s just a guess though. If it happens to not be in the game, then it is more like the original Sonic the Hedgehog game were you couldn’t Spin Dash either. That just made the game more challenging which is fine by me. I always like a challenge in a game.
More excited than before. A lot of my concerns prior to E3 have been fixed, the daytime stages looks like new and old-school fun and the nighttime stages looks like Old-school Rare which is great. My only concern are the controls for the daytime stages. B button for Crouch? X Button for Homing Attack? And no sign of Spin Dash?
I like the whole Werehog thing. It sounds cool. All I want in this game (wii version) is to have multiplayer, and to use the gamecube remote. They NEED to have Shadow in this game as a character. If they do have multiplayer, I want there to be day time action battle races, and night-time werehog stages WITH, every character having their own were form. That would pwn.
I’ll be more excited when or if they bring back EggRobo, the greatest Sonic character ever. Seriously.
@talk about low budget flights: I don’t think it matters too much, but a full blown story does add to a game. I like that Sonic has the story with it, it makes things make more sense on why they are going to where ever the go besides being just levels.
@Xeternalstar: Thanks for the link. I am getting the game for the PS3 because I want to play this game in HD. I may get it for the Wii as well if there is enough differences, which I doubt. It will be a shame to not do all the fancy moves the Wii will probably allow you to do, but that isn’t a big enough difference for me to get the same game for two different consoles.

HOWEVER, Mario seems to go do just fine by saying “Weehah! and Yeehah!.” In your opinion, does Sonic need a strong storyline, or should the games be straightforward like Mario, or Banjo Kazooie? Straight forward as in “run through the level, get that star.”??????????

GUYS GUYS GUYS i just found out that sonic unleashed wont be held back on wii by the crappy ps2 version (no offense but get real ps2 fans) on wikipedia if you look of developers for wii and ps2 it says dimps is only doing daytime dtages for the ps2 version and all of the wii version!!!
The action seems awesome for the game, werehog and levelwise. I do see more fans into this than in SA2, and way more than in 2006. If anything should be of concern, it’s the characters themselves.
Sure, it serves Sonic right that the gameplay be thrilling again (not necessarily 2D), but the voices and character roles will disappoint. Remember the SA2 prototypes? They looked boss, but everyone wanted to add Tails to that. And Sonic’s career has been plummeting since his new voice kicked in DESPITE him being in games with Mario legally and having moves and theme songs fans remember to this day.

i liked shadow the hedgehog sonic hereos sadxdc sa2b sr sra sgc scd stf sR and satsr. they all rocked but i lost some of them even smash bros brawl was fun cause it had sonic (i like ike to somehow really easy for me) dodo do do do doot doot doot doot dodo do do doot doot dah dah dah… sorry maplestory theme… does anyone know if and when and what the demo will be for?

and you’re so right ! i really hope it will be the least glitchy sonic game for a while… only time will tell. at least the CG cutscenes are awesome !
@Crazee: I get that feeling all the time that people see the rank and then declare it’s bad for some reason. Sonic Heroes had plenty of glitches, especially the Dark Team, but I found it enjoyable for the challenge in the game and the levels were very nicely done in appearance, of course some of their lines were so lame. Sonic ‘06 had fewer glitches and still had very enjoyable levels. I even liked Silver, Elise was annoying though since she seemed to only be a woman in distress the entire game so that there could be very clear morals in it.
I can’t remember the name of the magazine, but there is this one magazine that rates for “normal people” and then has a different rating that is suppose to be rated if you are a “fan” of the game series. I liked that aspect since it makes people notice that one kind of review says all.

Speaking of reviewers, I didn’t have “camera problems” while playing Sonic Adventure. I actually “learned” about them after reading reviews.
just for the heck of it, why doesnt Sonic just slap Robotnik and say, “Enough you crazy eggman, im freakin tired of all this running!”.
