Seems like a good time to gauge our readers on Sonic Unleashed once again, with E3 being behind us, and some Werehog footage being unveiled. Simply tell us if you’re more excited, more worried, or completely apathetic now that we know a bit more about Unleashed. Feel free to explain in the comments below.

There is a little new info coming from the Famitsu website for that Monster on one of the early leaked screenshots, the big prple one, you know!

    Here is what is says:
The breaking up of the continents has awoken a huge, terrible monster; “Dark Giga” from his slumber and Eggman tries to use him to dominate the planet.

Here the sorce where I found it, you have to scroll down to see it:

I feel better about it, I was a little worried about it at first, especially with the trailer with real people in it, but I feel good about it now.

Also, not sure if you care, but I have recently used some of the pictures you have on this site in other places. People ask where I got them and I tell them here. So just thought you should know that I’m basically advertising your website on a website I go on.

at first, when they announced it and show the leaked videos, I wasn’t that much excited I would normally be. Though when i saw the leaked CG screens I was like, “Whoa 0.o” then when more info came out about a Werehog, I was like, “Cool ^^” then when more info came out from E3, now I’m super excited for the game that I can’t wait until it’s available for pre-order ^^

I really want to find out how the Werehog plays as soon as I get the control in my hands. The gameplay from the interview really hyped me up xD

Is it possible to be both more excited and more worried at the same time? Because that’s how I feel right now. The E3 trailer was absolutely stunning and definitely has me pumped for this game, but the Werehog sections appear to be of questionable quality. There was also no mention of Chao Gardens, as many fans expected to hear a definite answer to their being included.

Regardless, I’m going to be looking forward to seeing what the upcoming Leipzig GC and TGS have to offer in terms of Sonic Unleashed.

Hmm…I think it’s a combination of both. E3 made it look very nice, but I’m panicked about SEGA releasing it in November. Seems a bit early to me. I really hope they don’t rush it…

I’m a bit Indifferent. I always try to keep a neutral attitude towards Sonic games cause I know from past experience that if I get too excited then I’m going to end up feeling disappointed in the end. But if I stay neutral, then I know that I’m going to enjoy it cause I wasn’t expecting a whole lot from it, even when people say that the game isn’t that good.

    sup dudes
i just got SRA ds and geometry wars galaxies wii

i think the wii will pull through, even if it doesnt have spectaculer grafx it will still dwarf the others because of GAMEPLAY if you look at the wii scans which are really really old they look great the way they are seriously take those scans and multiply the quality by 20 and you have the current grafx level which we havent even seen yet top that guys!

I’m really excited for Sonic Unleashed. The game play looks promising, even the werehog looks great… only thing I’m still curious about is how the Wii version will run. Other then that, I can’t wait for the game to come out in November!

By the way, this is my first post. I finally decided to post a comment.
    So hi everybody! :D

The trailer at E3 was so awesome I’ve got to say normal gameplay and speed look better than ever. Its the werewolf part that gives me the twitches. Gameplay looked a bit like button mashing stuff, and really easy. The trailer had a 97 hit combo on the top right while the wolf was mashing baddies. But the plot so far sounds good though we dont know too much.
    Eggman catches sonic
emeralds corrupted by eggman, sonic is corrupted to
eggman uses emeralds power to wake up a sleepy beast and split the world in 7
sonic spends his time running around the world restoring the emeralds at shrines but at night he turns into……The Wolf!

Did I miss anything? I know its to soon to say but this looks like sonics greatest adventure yet! Anyone know release date for Australia

Well, the Werewolf parts are the ones that worry me a little. But the rest looks amazing. It’s really exciting. But I’m still holding out for some more Wii screens and some gameplay videos.

But I’m also satisfied with the recent announcement of Sonic and the Black Knight, which sounds fantastic.

This game looks really good. The Werehog reminds me of Ristar. Do you know the funniest part? Ristar adopted the moves Sonic was supposed to have when he was supposed to be a rabbit, catching items with his stretchy ears. :D They’re reviving it without changing Sonic the Hedgehog. Instead, they created Sonic the Werehog.

One cool thing about the Werehog is that even though werewolves appear in Halloween themes, this game has nothing do do with Halloween. Don’t you find it weird that Sonic transforms at night, not at full-moon nights? Go ahead, SEGA. Redefine werewolves.

I’m still worried with how the werehog will affect Sonic’s personality (if it will), and with those black monsters he attacks. Are they demons? I hope not. Let them be plain underground/nocturnal monsters, minions of that giant monster, who hopefully, won’t have anything to do with Iblis or Mephiles. Just a scary monster from the center of the Earth. But I miss the old days when Sonic only destroyed robots. That was more amusing. It’s better to see mechanic pieces flying around than guts, don’t you agree? That’s why I like Sonic Heroes: the final boss is Metal Sonic. Oh well… SEGA is learning, and you never know how a future game will be.

I wanna see a Green Hill stage in Sonic Unleashed! :D

Classic Sonic gameplay. Great platforming Werehog sections. Could it possibly get any better? Don’t mess it up, SEGA!
