Earlier this month, we asked you all how important of an element Chao are in Sonic Unleashed. Out of all the questions I see in the comments… heck, even my inbox… Chao always seem to come out on top. What did all the campers have to say about them though?
Based on over 700 votes, 44% of the campers decided that while Chao are fun, they can certainly live without ‘em. That’s nearly 50% of the Camp Sonic viewers who suggest that they really aren’t necessary to make Sonic Unleashed a killer game.
Quickly following the dominant vote was Chao are “Very Important” at 29%, followed by “Won’t consider buying the game without them” at a surprising 16%. Will that many of you honestly not consider Sonic Unleashed without Chao? There is after all another game to get your Chao fix from this year (Sonic Chronicles for the Nintendo DS).
On a final note, before my Inbox fills up with the obligatory “Will there be Chao in Sonic Unleashed????” emails, I want to take a moment to reiterate that we will not have that answer until SEGA is ready to answer that question.

I love Chao, the only reason I still play Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Sonic Adventure DX is because of the Chao, i’ve got hours and hours of fun out of them and i’m sure a lot of people would agree.
When I compare Sonic Unleashed with the previous Sonic Adventure games, I really don’t see that many similarities between them. It’s a shame there is no Chao garden because I just think it would have made the game that much better, and once the player completes the game there is still something to keep them playing. Adding Chao would make the game different for one thing, since there haven’t been many major differences between the recent Sonic games.
As for Sonic Chronicles, the Chao in this game are really just “power ups” as opposed to an actual side game like in Sonic Adventure, which is what most Chao fans including myself are looking for. I think SEGA should definately consider including Chao in the next game.

i will really like if sega puts chao in the next game if they do i will probrably buy the game for a price like 1000$.and i also want that they make a nds game that we can take care of chaos and take them to chao karate and raise them and play with the and take them to chao race.and the name of the game should be like ømm…. “the chao raising game”or like… “chao adventure 1″

i really think that Chao should be included in the newest Sonic because it never actually hurts the game just makes it better because in reality if you dont like chao dont go to the gardens if you do go to the gardens.
