Earlier this month, we asked you all how important of an element Chao are in Sonic Unleashed. Out of all the questions I see in the comments… heck, even my inbox… Chao always seem to come out on top. What did all the campers have to say about them though?
Based on over 700 votes, 44% of the campers decided that while Chao are fun, they can certainly live without ‘em. That’s nearly 50% of the Camp Sonic viewers who suggest that they really aren’t necessary to make Sonic Unleashed a killer game.
Quickly following the dominant vote was Chao are “Very Important” at 29%, followed by “Won’t consider buying the game without them” at a surprising 16%. Will that many of you honestly not consider Sonic Unleashed without Chao? There is after all another game to get your Chao fix from this year (Sonic Chronicles for the Nintendo DS).
On a final note, before my Inbox fills up with the obligatory “Will there be Chao in Sonic Unleashed????” emails, I want to take a moment to reiterate that we will not have that answer until SEGA is ready to answer that question.

CHAOS SHOULD BE IN THE GAME SO AFTER THE GAME IS DONE YOU HAVE SOMEthing to do it also should be like chao mode where you go into stages that are from the regular and there is a evil chao and you have to do like regular sonic running in a high speed chao adventure XD

put chao garden in there including all the chaos… i want chaos in sonic unleashed… u can probrably go wifi with them against everyone who has one themselves.. like chao martial arts and races… and have them invovled in sports like basketball etc….
chaos are very fun but not needed. the game seems amazing as it is. if you ad chaos it would be like adding chocolate syrup to chocolate milk. makes it better but not needed.

awwwww i love chao, i spent hours in SA1 +2 playing with them they were so fun
i wish they were in the game, it would be cool to link up with the DS version to swap chao or something!

@Darkspines: And I’m making a Sonic chao! ^.^ Named ‘Sonadou’ for reasons indescribable. XP I already have a NiGHTS chao named ‘Naitsu’ (unimaginative) and a Power Chao named ‘Nakkurusu’, both level one. Nakkurusu and Sonadou can dance, while Naitsu draws that ‘wierd pizza topping/spaghetti with whipped cream topping and green fork/basket of apples and a leek’ picture.
