Earlier this month, we asked you all how important of an element Chao are in Sonic Unleashed. Out of all the questions I see in the comments… heck, even my inbox… Chao always seem to come out on top. What did all the campers have to say about them though?
Based on over 700 votes, 44% of the campers decided that while Chao are fun, they can certainly live without ‘em. That’s nearly 50% of the Camp Sonic viewers who suggest that they really aren’t necessary to make Sonic Unleashed a killer game.
Quickly following the dominant vote was Chao are “Very Important” at 29%, followed by “Won’t consider buying the game without them” at a surprising 16%. Will that many of you honestly not consider Sonic Unleashed without Chao? There is after all another game to get your Chao fix from this year (Sonic Chronicles for the Nintendo DS).
On a final note, before my Inbox fills up with the obligatory “Will there be Chao in Sonic Unleashed????” emails, I want to take a moment to reiterate that we will not have that answer until SEGA is ready to answer that question.

Well you sure seem to be optomistic.
Even though the Chao Gardens in Chronicles probably won’t be what we normally perceive as a Chao Garden, at least its a sign that the Sonic series (with or without SEGA; “My Dream” in NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams possibly being another sign) is moving back toward Chao breeding.
I don’t mind if the Chao are in the game or not ^^ I didn’t get to vote though 0.o
I only voted “won’t consider buying the game without them” because “very important” didn’t seem to be enough to me.
Sure I’ll get the game, but I bet it’ll suck *** after a month or so without a Chao Garden.
And no, we won’t be getting our fix in Sonic Chronicles. They’re power-ups, not breedables. Epic failure.

Hun, E3 just passed (kinda) and you can’t expect info to come every few days. Just chill we have a lot of info as of now so be happy sega released the info we have

considering all the stuff from E3 we gotten, that’s my guess.

man they’re isnt any new sonic unleashed info leaking out i wonder how long this is gonna last….
I still think the Chao should be in the game, they should be collectable in the town stages. If you find one, it improves the world, restores parts of the town that was damaged maybe? or they could be used to unlock bonus levels. I still think they should have the chao that can be collected, they should have the Master Emerald Shrine and have them live there, and make that world be theirs, where they modify it however they want.
Like the more chao you can find, the more interesting and developed their world becomes.
that was the opening sequence, not the cutscenes. theres never been speech in an opening sequence. and plus, there was MUSIC playing in the backround. if there is speech they cut it out in order to put the music in.
Does anyone know if there will be ANY talking in Sonic Unleashed? From the cutscene parts we’ve seen so far it doesn’t look like it!
