Earlier this month, we asked you all how important of an element Chao are in Sonic Unleashed. Out of all the questions I see in the comments… heck, even my inbox… Chao always seem to come out on top. What did all the campers have to say about them though?
Based on over 700 votes, 44% of the campers decided that while Chao are fun, they can certainly live without ‘em. That’s nearly 50% of the Camp Sonic viewers who suggest that they really aren’t necessary to make Sonic Unleashed a killer game.
Quickly following the dominant vote was Chao are “Very Important” at 29%, followed by “Won’t consider buying the game without them” at a surprising 16%. Will that many of you honestly not consider Sonic Unleashed without Chao? There is after all another game to get your Chao fix from this year (Sonic Chronicles for the Nintendo DS).
On a final note, before my Inbox fills up with the obligatory “Will there be Chao in Sonic Unleashed????” emails, I want to take a moment to reiterate that we will not have that answer until SEGA is ready to answer that question.

That’s why they SHOULD put chao in it! They would be screwed without chao if it sucked. If they have an awesome Chao Garden, then the game won’t be in as bad of shape.

i know whe i beated SA2B it happened the same thing to me….
i still play it becouse there is not a new sonic game with chaos this could be their chance to make another great game like SA2B that people would keep playing becouse of chao
sure the game will be fun but it was the chao that creates replay value. After I beat SA2 all I did was play with the chao feature

No way. Having 4 new gaming consoles in the industry would just be rediculous. There’s no way SEGA’s new console would do very well. The only way SEGA would be able to reenter the console market is if either Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft were to drop out/merge with one of their competitors.
I think there’s a good chance that in the distant future SEGA will make games exclusively for Nintendo. After all, that’s where the most money lies.
