Every month here at Camp Sonic, we take a brief moment to reflect upon all of the important happenings here, and in the greater Sonic Community.  We do this in part to keep our readers updated with anything important they have missed over the course of the month, but also to share the love with the rest of the Sonic Community out there!

Important Sonic Unleashed Updates

It was a really busy month with E3 keeping us occupied and everything else going on.  Rather than posting ALL of our E3 coverage, I suggest brushing up on our E3 Roundup if you think you missed something!

It’s been a pretty cool month with E3 and all.
I don’t love the new look, but I don’t hate it either.
Also I won a pin for guessing that it was Tomoya Ohtani in that little ‘guess who’ contest. :)
Still waiting for that pin to come in the mail, that’s what I get for living on an island in Canada. :B

    Keep it up, Camp Sonic!

July was simply frantic, with loads of E3 info AND an all-new Sonic game.

Hopefully, we’ll get a Wii trailer this month. It’s about time.

I have to admit, without this site, I wouldn’t know half the stuff about this game. So Thanks a lot, David! :D

@Chaos Blast: ditto, three cheers for camp sonic!!

this month was awesome for SU. The ‘endless possibilities’ trailer was the best and shadow being confirmed was brilliant to.

@Andrew: There is no Wii trailer. Don’t think there will be one really… My guess is that they use the same trailers for each game.

Thanks everyone! Also - still no plans for forums (in response to one viewers question).

I just want to know for the wii version of the game do we have to use the wii remote or can we use the gamecube controller because I really don’t want to be swinging my arms around like crazy. The wii remote is also not too precise so that might also cause problems.

You can use the GC controller or the classic controller…

    Sega’s cool like that.

On a related topic, I was reading the new Nintendo Power and I am actually impressed by S&TBK. It looks good, and the control sounds fixed to an extant. I’m encouraged, since I liked Secret Rings.

Yes. To think that I was almost going to count this site out back in the day when all there was was wallpapers. I love this site. XD Bring on more Sonic news! XD

@Crazee: Sega has always been about the details, I’ve found. Some things they might overlook, but others, they go all out. XD

Heh, all the anger about it when all we had was a cover image seems completely unfounded. The on-rails system did solve some of the problems that made 3D Sonic more tough to swallow for some, but it still could use some refinement. Combining a polished version of the SaTSR engine with new elements will make a better game~ There will also be some 25.D action in the stages and while other characters will be playable in the game, they are COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY OPTIONAL. Like, you don’t have to play with them if you don’t want to…wow, how long has it been since we’ve been able to do that, Sonic 3 and Knuckles? XD I personally think that we’ll have another decent Sonic title for the Wii if they manage to pull it off.

    @iNAUDiBLE:

The concept of Sonic running with a huge sword in 2.5D sounds it could have potential. I’d like to see how good the development team is at making these kinds of stages though.
