After seeing some new artwork in the latest issue of PSM3, Umiyuri decide to design a wallpaper for the Sonic community. Our own viewers thought it was pretty brilliant, and in an effort to give the desktop more publicity (and bandwidth), we wanted to dedicate a post to it.

Thank you. I appreciate it. It was insanely hard editing out the color of the paper(with MS Paint) and there were drawings on the back that leaked through, too!

also, I was looking up some stuff on shadow the hedgehog, and I found out that one of the reasons that sega replaced the voice cast is because Deem Bristow (Eggman’s original voice actor) died and they needed someone to replace him.

@AquaBlade: Sprites are visual elements used in game design, such as backgrounds, props, characters, and other objects. Since 3D games nowadays use computer-generated animation to show movement, sprites are usually only found in 2D side-scrolling games. If a sprite has animation properties (such as when Sonic walks) they can be broken down into their individual frames, which are individually known as sprites as well.

@allie: You seem to be using Sonic X as your resource, which seems pretty lame when it was more info is revealed from the games which came first. Sonic X isn’t the best place to find Sonic info; the games are.
And Sonic X can alter things, too.

Yay! just submitted a link, everyone look out for it its how to draw sonic! Its really easy and so much fun. I gave it a go and managed to draw old school sonic and a recent one of him pointing at you. Its really cool!

@David Leggett: The hall was tiny, but packed with all sorts of stuff. I posed with Sonic the Hedgehog and played a bit of Sonic Chronicles. The end of the day had a mini concert with Lee Brotherton, TJ Davis and Richard Jacques. And I’m giddy over the fact that two important people commented positively on my artwork: namely, Elson Wong of ‘The Grand ASHWORTH Fortune’ and Nigel Kitching, writer of Sonic the Comic!

I really want this game so bad. I would like to play WereSonic. I can’t believe I read more negative comments on this game than positive. First the Arabian Nights in Secret Rings and now real places like Austrailia, USA, and Asia thats one thing I like about a game when they use real places instead of making up something, it dosn’t stress you out much.
