Sonic Unleashed Box Art Seems Legit
As many readers pointed out, the box art shown the other day on sites such as Amazon and Play.com seems to be the real deal. It now proudly sits on SEGA’s own Sonic Unleashed Product page — just waiting to be collectively grabbed by fans all around the world come November.
What’s more is that they have also graced their Sonic Unleashed product page with a brand new image of Sonic and the Werehog. I haven’t been able to find any other changes aside from that, but I’ve hardly slept in days, so it might be worth a look.

I thought it was real. And it’s a good thing SEGA is showing off SU again at the game convention. Maybe we’ll see the Wii version >:3

which is a feke box art, but, on the back of the boxart it says, “3 unique characters u can choose from.” wat do u think they mean by that??? and it also says that there willbe 12 worlds. i hope there aren’t any new characters.
@someone: I doubt it. Note that it also says Sonic was created thirty years ago.

A terribly coloured manga page! The backstory is that this is the second time Fluffy’s visited Amy. He gestures to his back, but she phrases things badly. And the aftermath involves Fluffy and Amy running into a fire caused by a badnik.
I remember Sonic & Knuckles for the Genesis, how simple the cover was. It was kind of cheap compared to the other covers, but the game was awesome. I wont judge a book by the cover. If the game is as good as it looks then SEGA deserves great praise from the fans and from the critics.
Yeah, i like the picture. But as box art . . . i dont think so. They could have alot more stuff in the background, and more vibrant, standing out thing, in the picture itself.

I was surfing wikipedia and was looking through the old Sonic Adventure games. And the foreign versions of the game had the same type of rating on the box, a number with a plus. I know wikipedia is hard to trust but the old games had it. And when i searched Sonic unleashed on wikipedia, it had this very picture. Unfortunate news for some of you, good for others. I guess we’ll just have to learn to trust it.

On a side note,I saw some sonic’06 vids again.
The gameplay varies from looking cool(wave ocean) to looking slow(ocean base,sonic is S-L-O-W).
But the whole gameflow looks awful when compared to unleashed.
I guess saying this won’t offend even the most hardcore of sonic fans.Unleashed is that kind of a step forward,I hope.
I have been away from the computer for a while.I guess the cover is ok but they could have done better. I mean I like it and all but oh well what can ya do right. :) I was also just re watching the gameplay videos at gamespot. you know the ones with the music and the yeah coming from sonic when he uses his ring boost. Anyway those were awesome!!!!!!!!!! Thats the kind of stuff that keeps me interested. Right?

@dragonite: Dragonite, mah boi, the yeah shout is something temporary until they get completely done with the voice clips. Nothing to worry about :) I don’t find it that annoying though, but a lot of people do. But yeah, dun’ worry about it, it’ll change by the time they are done with the game.
I’d definitely prefer it if the boxart was somehow like the PSM3 cover. Sonic hedgehog and werehog running side-by side, in a split-screen with day in one side and night on the other.
This boxart is weird. I like the colors in the background, they’re awesome, but we can only see the werehog’s mouth. It looks like the hedgehog has big fangs in his mouth, which is almost all the time on the side of the muzzle, not the center. It’s just awkward. And scary. But, you know, I’ll have to get used to the idea.
Nice promo art in the american site. I like it a lot. In fact, either this, the PSM3 cover, or the first promo we’ve ever seen (Sonic in London with the werehog appearing behind him) would be just swell for the actual boxart. But slightly changed, of course.
When will we have access to all these new artworks? Right now, we only have one of Sonic’s poses. There are two more, and two artworks of the werehog. And, who knows, maybe there will be more in the future.

I liked the Sonic/Werehog image on the cover but they could’ve done better on the background. That’s my opinion… but what you see is what you get. xP

Hm. Well, its decent stuff nonetheless.
I take it that most everybody has some tolerance for the werehog now? …Well, I heard that some peeps at Kotaku HATE it. Made them say that Sonic was dead and that they’d never play it again.
…even though the game isn’t out yet. …SONIC THE WEREHOG, SEPARATING THE MEN FROM THE BOYS SINCE 2008. …or separating those who keep a vow of neutrality from those who will whine all the way to the video game store, whine all the way back, whine while playing the game and then whine on the internet. Sheesh, please quit whining! It’s not polite and it makes my ears hurt! Play some Klonoa or something instead, it’ll make you feel better! D’:
*coughs* Right. I’m still cautious about the werehog, however, I do think that it has the possibility of working, so long as the combat doesn’t become monotonous. :)

What a half-ripoff. It’s probably official that Unleashed and the Black Knight sucks more than we think. How many more Sonic games will disappoint us before SEGA gets it right, until the end of the series? I fear that will come soon.

dat’s an interview in portuguese that gamestart had with patrick riley. i know it’s old news but… it says that there won’t be any online gameplay. so no multiplayer, definitely. if u wonder if i speak portuguese, then no. but i do know spanish and those languages r similiar. lol

Well,considering that sonic lands on the space fleet,fight a bit,gets caught.goes super,after a rampage gets surprised by the machine.he transforms,most likely you see some stuff on earth happening as well,where-sonic gets ejected to earth,and on earth there must be a small event as well,it makes sense.

30 fps stands for 30 frames per second which is disappointing since sonic 06 was 60 fps
