Sonic Unleashed Box Art Seems Legit
As many readers pointed out, the box art shown the other day on sites such as Amazon and Play.com seems to be the real deal. It now proudly sits on SEGA’s own Sonic Unleashed Product page — just waiting to be collectively grabbed by fans all around the world come November.
What’s more is that they have also graced their Sonic Unleashed product page with a brand new image of Sonic and the Werehog. I haven’t been able to find any other changes aside from that, but I’ve hardly slept in days, so it might be worth a look.

So, what does Umi have? Umm, Sonic Rush, Sonic Rivals (but I don’t have the sequels), SA:DX(PC), SA2B, both Sonic Riders, SATSR, Sonic Heroes(PS2), Sonic Mega Collection+(PC), Shadow the Hedgehog(PS2), Mario & Sonic and Brawl.
The best one? I dunno. The one I’m best at? Sonic Riders: Shooting Star Story. I refuse to call it by the name on the cover.
I’ve just been watching the gamespot videos, the ones with tthe music, and so far, I think they sound great! I wonder how the rest of the game will sound? I think some of the music should sound like this;

the 360 version will probly suck even with the hedgy engine. wii version will conquer ALL!!! wii is cool. the graphics are perfect the gameplay makes me very happy, and… the wii overall is the best console EVER!!! sonic games i own : rush rush adventure brawl s&m snoic gems collection sadx (awesome) shadow the hedgehog (rocks on gc) sa2b satsr sonic heroes (ultimate life form data succesfully copied XD) um im pretty sure i have more but id remember. sonic 06 looks worth a shot except it looks like some sort of redo of sa1 cuase of all da similarities ive heard of so im gonna buy a 360 elite and sonic06 just for kicks. btw im posting this comment from my awesome nintendo wii internet channel BOOYAH!!!

Also I’m excited about the Leipzig Game Convention even though Sega and Capcom are the only companies making it worthwhile.
Microsoft’s not having an Xbox press conference, and Nintendo’s not even going to be there.
Lucky for Sony fans, Sony’s the only one having an official showing this year.
Jet Grind Radio Wii has pretty much been confirmed to be revealed there because Sega sucks at keeping these things a secret. (Really, check Ripten if you didn’t know.) :)
And to make this post somewhat on topic,
the box art looks cool, and they better show a god damn Wii trailer of Unleashed during the Leipzig GC.

Quick qeustion: Is it true there will only be 9 levels? Sonic had more than 9 levels on his own in Sonic Adventure. Surely this is completely wrong.

Yea there are 9 levels, but each level has a day and night stage. So 18 levels
@Mark: No, this is true, but im sure every level has a Werehog part to it, so 18 levels. And it is rumored that the wii version only has 7.
@WiiFP: It was confirmed that the rumor was fake, and SATSR only had 7 or 8 levels, so I guess there are a bunch of smaller levels in one level.

@Rox: 99% there will be a dedicated Sonic fan who will record the WHOLE THING XD
oh and also the whole “Fang The Sniper” thing is 1% believable because Sonic recognizes that bringing back an old character is always a good move. It is, i guess.

@KC Cross: Sorry that I’m just a tad late, I don’t check Sonic forums very often. I love Fang, he was always such a cool character, I’d love to see him make a comeback, though I sorta doubt it’ll happen…

@Hannah the Echidna: Well if they don’t have a super Were-Hog, then Sonic fans will always wonder what could’ve been, and they’re gunna HATE sonic for it.
Other fans will expect a Sonic Unleashed 2, and that WONT HAPPEN cuz this game was supposed to be like Sonic Adventure 3 but they changed it around. plus games like Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 are better cuz you can be more people lol
Although, the Hedgehog Engine DID take 3 years to make.

@KC Cross: What I hope happens is that when it is time for a super form, good ol’ Super Sonic is the choice and it cures Sonic of his new-found lycanthropy. I see Werehog as an inverse of Super Sonic, you know, the opposite.
