Catch-Up: Recent Sonic Unleashed Happenings
Was gonna save this for our monthly roundup, but I found a bit of extra time, so I decided to squeeze it in a bit sooner.
There’s been several Sonic Unleashed tidbits that we’ve missed due to lifes greater evils (you know… work, Monday mornings, College, collecting change on the streets to pay for pouridge…), and rather than take up too much of your time with a collection of posts, Camp Sonic will serve all of these updates in one concise, informative update.
Better Quality Mykonos Video from Leipzig’s Game Convention
We posted a video of a full stage from Mykonos Greece in Sonic Unleashed — but through most of the coverage, it seemed like we were simply watching how effectively crowds of people could walk in front of the screen to block our view. Thankfully, GameVideos got a better look at the screen, and has made their version available to all:
We get a quick look at Chip in the video, the newest character to enter into Sonic’s universe. Here’s to hoping that he plays a small role in Unleashed, rather than dominating the entire storyline.

OK the offer WOULD be great if I only lived in the the UK! Now just for reference how much would that equal up to in the US Dollar? Other than that I just can’t wait to pre-order the game! I only need $7.50!
@Sonicdude: I don’t know the exact amount, but it is about $1.85 dollars per one UK £1 and so it would be about $33.28 for the US.

When you pre-order something, does it normally come on the release date, or when the shop gets it? When do the shops normally get it?

I have a Question! will Camp Sonic show ANY SU cutsences? cause that would spoil it. (for me anyway!) doe`s anyone also know any day-night levels in UNLEASHED? Cause i think AFRICA`S one, in those screen shots… Anyway the Wii version looks ok! But im getting the 360 (in November!) and the WII one in December!
@Chaosblast: to anser your question i`d say shops get games 1 week eailer and you get your pre-orded game on its release date! Cause i pre-orded SSBB and got it on the 27th june! (it broke my wii that day…:-( )

oh well when youre typing in the comment box, THEN you click the gray arrow, not when you’re typing your name.
And i dont believe there are any cutscenes out yet, besides some of the opening movie.
when they come out, though, some might be shown here on CampSonic.
But when the game comes out, every cutscene will ultimately be posted on YouTube within the 1st week.

Even trough I the beginning was terrible played.
I also saw that sonic made contact with a robot without taking damage.

As for being realistic…
it is just finding a balance.
Sonic must still take itself seriously.
But still, the humans in sonic 06 looked a bit weird next to sonic,but it was,you know..
REALISTIC…..
I actually like sonic to be a weird mix of realistic and fantasy elements,it has an own charm.
But cartoonly people are fine to,as long if they do not go overboard.
Still funny to see them taking such a statement when the levels are based on the real world.
On a side note, can you fix the cookie system?

Just to let people know, according to gamestop…the PS2 version qill be $29.99 here. So, don’t worry about those rates…if you’re in the U.S it will still be cheap.
And apparently the Wii version will be $49.99 and the 360/PS3 will be $59.99.

Crazee: Yeah, but online it’s still $39.99! The other problem is that when you search Sonic Unleashed it only gives you the 360, Wii, and PS3 ones! Help? Anyways even if it is only $29.99 the day it comes out it will easily be sold out unless, of course you get there early but that’s not possible, because it’s a school day for me! If it’s not cheaper anywhere else I’m just buying it expensive on Amazon.
