New Sonic Unleashed Gameplay Videos from TGS
Note from the Editor: Some news was posted later than intended in an effort to catch up with important Sonic Unleashed happenings.
A couple of suprising gameplay videos were filmed today at TGS ‘08. including a brand new Sonic Unleashed Wii Video! Sonic’s ball form is shown in the Europe stage, whereas the Light Dash is heard, but not seen, in Greece (on the 360). There are multiple TV’s Running this game in the background, so don’t think Sonic’s yelling random things. A common worry was “Will the Wii version look good?” Well, let the video answer your question:

Although I was interested in the graphical differences of the games, i already know that factor doesn’t make a game great its gamplay. The wii version looks better however in its rAwEty to me makes it more appealing than the 360 + PS3. I was always going to buy the wii version instead of the others anyway but this reinforces it for me.
Sonic Unlashed will be at least 2nd in the best game award (Sorry call of duty 5 will do way better) in dact it will do so well that the new GTA game will be on shelfs everywhere and Sonic unleashed will be just like crazy bones.

I hope the PS2 version gets a trailer. I’ve preordered it (if only I had a 360). I think we can be sure that the were-wolf sections are going to alright now. Having to fight enemies to get through different sections in each level worked for soul calibur. And this time it’s quite a bit faster and more platforming orientated.

Yeah, I loved the first trailer with Endless Possibility. It’s pretty awesome.
I’m gonna get the soundtrack since I can’t get the game(I don’t play a lot of games anymore) to tide me over. And I only have a PS2 anyway.
lol Whoever’s playing is pretty pathetic. Whoever plays on the first trailer was awesome.
It seems that the slightest tilt on the DualShock 3 has too much of an effect on Sonic. That’s what I love about the trailer. He runs in a straight line the whole way.

At a certain point, I was reminded of Sonic X-treme. The pitiful humans that cancelled that game seemed to have something going.
Those humans created a 3d Sonic game, that seems to become 2d at certain points. It is possible that those humans were unsure of what exactly they were going to do with the game… and it may of been short. Who knows what Sonic X-treme would’ve been like… the first and only 3d Sonic game in which you could play right through as Sonic only?
