New Sonic Unleashed Screenshots
Many screenshots were unveiled on Sega Japanese Sonic Unleashed site earlier today. Including both Werehog Sonic, and Normal Sonic. With some new moves, Werehog Sonic makes a bang in the Night time China level, while Sonic speeds through the Daytime China level.
We get to see some new environment of the Daytime China level, including backgrounds, the almighty shuttle loop, and some new speedways. Check them out for yourself!

I don’t want to be the “bad news” guy, but why are all these people saying “I hope Sega releases this sooner! I want this now!” Haven’t you learned that Sega’s biggest problem in 3d is rushing games? This doesn’t just go for SONIC games, it goes for many of their games in general. Most 3d games that require long development from Sega is rushed.
So, keep that in mind. If some of you worked at Sega, you’d probably make this game release in September. The good news is, Sonic Unleashed atleast “looks” like on of those arcade games that Sega does well in. Just don’t rush them.
I sincerely doubt anyone wants the game rushed…they’re just anxious to play it. If they knew it had faults, they’d want it delayed. That’s how it is with me. I’d want it delayed if it wasn’t finished, but I hope it’s on pace to hit release date.

Well, there are reports of previews that speak about bugs. in which they say, hopefully by the time the game is released… blah blah blah.
Yes, they are anxious to play it, but it was the same story with Sonic 06.
If the game is straightfoward like the genesis and 2d games, it may not be rushed at all. But when they add complicated elements… like adventure field missions… problems begin.
Right now, the Sonic parts seem very straightforward. The only real complications may be the Werehog parts. If that is the only part that is slightly rushed, then I am fine. With the Sonic parts, I don’t think rushing will be so much of a problem. The most that may happen is that they’d cut out levels, or level size… just like Sonic 3.
Since the werehog parts to me are just a build up for Sonic’s turn, I’m guessing the game will turn out just fine.

@slade: @WiiFP: That happens to me all the time :( and about your lizard just calm down my friend, now I don’t know a heck of a lot about lizards, but they don’t grow in a flash once they shed their skin, it takes time :) Your lizards is probably fine theres a good place I found on the net called the lizard lounge, they have a page on lizards shedding, or go to the store/breeder you got him from :)
And yes I know lizards are unrelated slade needed help
@jo: The real problem with Sonic of late seems to be control, and that’s seriously letting the games down.

I think if there was to be a problem with the werehog parts, it would be that it’s to boring, the puzzels are peasy and the battles are straitforward buttonmashing.
Unfortunately for us all of these are difficult to gauge unless you actually play the game
@WiiFP: You have to install the plugins. When you click play a yoyogames message should appear at the top of the page. If you are using Vista, use firefox rather than internet explorer. If none of this helps, just download it.

hav u guys wondered wat happens to the water when the earth is shattered? i mean, does it fall to the center of the earth? does it dry? does it stay the same? does it fly away? O.o
@someone: Technically, If the Earth seperated, there would be a super nova explosion destroying everything, including our wonderful Water. But if everything survived, and was split into chunks, the water would probably stay there seeing how everything and everything massive in space has its own gravitational pull.

Interesting analysis. Of course, nowadays those missing levels could be added through DLC or expansions…

Didn’t Amy go from 13 years old to 12? This would make it illegal to for Sonic and Amy to date. Each time Amy tries to “marry” Sonic, she puts Sonic at risk of being a “predator.”
In the event that Amy gets a mind control device and gets Sonic to date and/or marry her… oh oh… guy will walk by and say, “Sonic, how old is she?” How’d Sonic respond? “Woah oh! I’m up over and gone!”
I guess Sonic is too fast to be caught.

I’m so excited man, 2 weeks from tomorrow and the glorious day we’ve all been waiting for will arrive. I can’t wait, I wish they wouldn’t make people wait so long.
I just saw that Night of the Werehog movie trailer thing not too long ago.. and it ROCKED! Cant wait for Sega to upload the rest!!
