A new 360 Trailer of Empire City hit Gametrailers.com earlier this week, and it looks amazing. It seems as if Sonic has no boundaries as he runs through the Big Apple of his world. @Lol: Maybe they did get it from fan fiction, maybe not, it doesn’t really matter where they get their ideas, as long as it is done correctly is what counts. Sonic and the Black Knights, however, is based off of an already told story about King Arthur, it isn’t an idea from fan fiction. But if your are correct in you assumption, good for Sega, they are trying to find ideas that the gamers of Sonic are interested in playing.
@Mark Chao: You must be under 15.
The original Sonic games were great, but i’m not saying we should go back to the original character design, original plot, same levels and designs. In the originals unless you hit a red spring you couldn’t run very fast, unless downhill. And besides, there were lots of hazards, slowness, jumping and just normal platforming.
And Jason sounded just like Ryan in Brawl and Unleashed.
@Lol: I bet you’re one of those people that say “Sonic should go back to his roots” or “Jason ruined Sonic, Ryan should voice him”.
@Mark Chao: The sword in Brawl is a common item. You can’t complain about Mario having a sword, or Snake, or Kirby. It’s purely for fighting convenience.
This game centers around sword gameplay though. I don’t ******* care if he’s still fast while swinging it: the idea of Sonic wielding a sword could only be imagined in fanfiction. (And fanfiction is the resource of where SEGA comes up with Sonic stories)

Well, I might as well mention this. I don’t know which one is which yet, it takes a while to download, but I may have found a site that allows you to download and watch an HD version of the Sonic Unleashed opening, the entire thing with English subtitles since they are speaking Japanese. I have about an hour and a half to go before the one I believe is the opening CGI for Sonic unleashed is done.
If someone has already mentioned this, sorry, I just thought it would be nice to be able to download and watch it in HD instead of a blurry you tube version.
