What Console is it for?

SEGA has confirmed that Sonic Unleashed will be released for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, and Playstation 2. More from the official announcement of Sonic Unleashed.

We’ve confirmed that Sonic Unleashed will at least be coming out for the Nintendo Wii, thanks to leaked cover art of the Official Nintendo Magazine.

Gamestop.com has listed Sonic Unleashed as being available for the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 & 2. There is still no official word from SEGA, and this could simply be standard practice (you know… to get some early sales). Hopefully we’ll know more soon.

At this point, there has been no word from Sega on what Consoles Sonic Unleashed is being developed for, but we have evidence that shows that the game will at least be available for the Wii and/or Xbox 360.
In the above screenshot, a still frame captured from leaked footage of Sonic Unleashed, we can clearly make out the letter A, which is a button on the Nintendo Wii, as well as Xbox 360. This does not confirm one of those two systems specifically, and certainly doesn’t rule out the fact that this title could appear on the Playstation 3 as well.
Based on previous exclusive titles, and multi-platform titles, we expect Sonic Unleashed to be either a Wii Exclusive, or available on all 3 major consoles.
